Happy February, friends.
Wishing you peace and joy this season and the whole year through,

P.S. In honor of our progressively leaning angel, I’ve tentatively titled this piece “Even Angels Become Weary.” Sometimes, when we’re alone in the house, I tell her I understand.

Nice post. I learn something alot more difficult on distinct blogs everyday. It’ll generally be stimulating to read content from other writers and practice somewhat something from their store. I’d prefer to make use of some using the content on my weblog regardless of whether you do not mind. Natually I’ll give you a link on your internet blog. Thanks for sharing.

We just took the ornaments off our tree on Friday, and I’ll take the tree down and pack it away today. Last year we had it up until April 16th! This year my goal was to get it down before the end of January, but that didn’t happen (flu and strep and all of that)… so this really warmed my heart 🙂
I just had to click over to say that I’ve still got my tree up too. I’m glad to know there’s a whole club of us procrastinators, or whatever we want to call ourselves. I love keeping it around and can’t decide if it’s still up because of lack of time to take it down . . . or lack of desire to see it go!
Happy February, everyone!

I love your title to this. So true, angels do become weary and sometimes forget to fill their buckets….but the best part of this post: You talking to her when no one is at home. Is it out loud? I often talk out loud when I am home alone, but thank goodness I have a dog and tell myself I am talking to her….sigh.
I still have my Merry Christmas banner up… and I didn’t even put a tree up this year so I can’t complain about having no time to take it down!
I like celebrating longer though, it always feels like Christmas is over too fast. 🙂
Me, too! And I LOVE having the brightly lit tree. Since Abby’s my Allergy Girl, it’s a fake tree, and we don’t have to worry about a live one drying out. I can leave this beauty up all year. So does this make me a month late or 10 months early??
You make me feel SOOO much better. My tree is still up, too. Nice to know I’m not alone!
Oh, there’s a whole crowd of us, Jan. You’re definitely not alone. I’m trying to decide how to decorate it for the Superbowl, but I need it to be EASY.
You’re sometimes alone in the house???????? I am so jealous.
Seriously, Cathie, my youngest went to SCHOOL this year. School is AMAZING.
