Hello, friends and welcome to…
8 Days of Giveaways:
Day FIVE!
PUNJAMMIES™ by Sudara
In September, I wrote to you about my successful quest for the perfect pajama pants. It was a quest I’d posed initially and facetiously as “of eternal significance” until I discovered PUNJAMMIES™ which are gorgeous, comfy jammy pants AND are made by Sudara, an organization that works to free women from sex slavery by giving them living wage jobs. “Every pair of PUNJAMMIES™,” in fact, “is named after a woman who is now steadily employed in a stable, living-wage job with a Sudara sewing center partnership.”
I mean, who knew buying pajama pants CAN ACTUALLY BE an act of eternal significance? Right?
So here we are 4 months later, and I’m as in love with my PUNJAMMIES™ now as I was then. EVEN MORE exciting is the fact that Sudara eagerly partnered with me for this giveaway so one of you gets to win a pretty pair of the flannel Sara Capris PUNJAMMIES™ pictured to the right.
Gotta say, Sudara gets cooler and cooler all the time.
From Sudara: Let’s get right down to it: No human being should be owned by anyone, anywhere, for any reason — ever. It really is that simple.
We are passionate about India — where some of the highest estimates of slavery and sex-trafficking anywhere in the world are reported. And while it may seem overwhelming, we are hopeful because we are seeing how safe, sustainable jobs are making a way for women to make their way out of the trade- and stay out.
Our PUNJAMMIES™ are inspired by the beauty, colors and textures seen throughout the local culture and are crafted by brave women in the community who wish to remain free from the trade they escaped.
That’s why we say that Sudara goods are made from hope, and made for comfort.
Today’s Giveaway is lightweight flannel Sara Capris PUNJAMMIES™ (pictured above.)
TO ENTER, simply leave a comment on this blog post anytime until 11:59pm Pacific Time on Monday, December 14. (Psst… don’t enter on Facebook— though I LOVE comments there and read every one, I’m using the blog comment string to randomly select a winner). Any comment will work to enter, but if you’d like a prompt, tell us where you’d wear your PUNJAMMIES. Me? I pick Hawaii with all of you.
This giveaway is now closed.
Congratulations to Julia Robinson, winner of the PUNJAMMIES! Look for an email in your box, Julia.

Do Note: Multiple giveaways are going simultaneously — one every day for 8 days and each of them open for 48ish hours, so check back every day to see what new giveaways there are!
Also Note: This giveaway is open worldwide. None of this “America only” crap. We do not have time for America Only in this ComeUnity. Sudara is providing the PUNJAMMIES and U.S. shipping; I’ll supplement shipping if one of you wins from elsewhere.
Also-also Note: The artists selected for this giveaway were hand-picked by yours truly. They did not pay for these spots, nor do I benefit in any financial way by hosting these. Emotionally? I get a HUGE benefit. ‘Cause this stuff makes me happy. Each artist received a spot on the right sidebar (or, if you’re viewing on your mobile, at the bottom of the page) to advertise his/her stuff (hint: you can catch a preview there of what’s coming over the next few days), which is my gift to them to thank them for partnering with me. They’re rad.

UGH I can’t believe I missed the cutoff but I am still commenting in the hopes that you will be lenient on the rules. 😉 LOVE these.
I would love to wear them to the bus stop – because I leave before my kids get up and would love to be home with them to put them on the bus – of course, the middle would probably pretend he doesn’t know me if I came to the bus stop in pj’s!
I just love pyjamas. I especially love when I’m in them, either sleeping, reading or spending a day in PJs. I have been drooling over punjammies for ages, yes, we’ve even heard of them from all the way down here 🙂
Thanks for the fun giveaways
I would wear them at the beach, I would wear them at the fair; I would wear them everywhere!
Hi Beth! I need these punjammies for my daughter. She is a beautiful, creative, intelligent 14 year old who feels incredibly sad and hopeless right now. So sad that we had to take her to the hospital tonight to make sure she will stay safe. I came to your blog tonight because you always make me feel as though I’m not alone…and here I saw your Punjammies giveaway. While I know that a comfy pair of punjammies will not make my beautiful girl’s sadness go away, she would love to receive something from your website. She absolutely loves reading your posts (especially the funny ones about penises and pooping in the closet) and I just know that if she got a pair of punjammies from you she would love being able to snuggle in them as she recovers.
Hi Wendy, and thanks for writing and sharing your daughter’s story. Love to you, mama, and love to your girl. I’m sending you an email here in a minute. Check your inbox. xoxo
Beth
I love jammy pants! Those are super cute! I’ve been wanting to try Punjammies. I’d love to win, but may just buy myself a little Christmas gift even if I don’t
I’d wear these on a cruise to Alaska
Eek! Love punjammies! Bought some for both my mom and my mother in law! Now I need some to wear everywhere… But especially when I visit my sweet friends in Turkey!
ooh pjs and social justice all at the same time 🙂
I love PJ bottoms. I currently have black ones on, that way if I sneak out to walk the dog people can’t tell I am not dressed in proper clothes… at 3pm. Yay for hiding personal flaws, and for PJ bottoms. Love your blog!
work. obviously, to work.
also: the Netherlands.
but mainly work.
I just got rid of my old pyjamas – I would love to try those now. They look like what I love best about pants to wear to bed, comfortable, and comfortable and even more comfortable. But I’d also wear them around the house, and in the garden and to the postbox and when taking the garbage outside!
So Belgium would have its first pair of Punjammies if I’d get them! Thanks for giving us all a chance. I never win, but “hoop doet leven”: to hope is to live (as we say in Dutch/Flemish and French (l’espoir fait vivre).
Looks like you could exercise in them! I’d wear them to class.
I love jammies. These look so comfortable.
Everywhere!!!! I’d wear them everywhere! Even to church. 😉
Hurray for Jammie Pants!!! I would LOVE these! Thanks for the opportunity to win. xoxo
LOVE!
New jammies sound like a great Christmas gift. I think my gown is probably 10 years old. yikes! Ah, who am I kidding, I’d probably give them to my daughter as a gift.
I will wear them all over everywhere, because. They look sooo comfy. 😉
